IMDO

How every IMDO trade pays for regeneration

The IMD swarm runs on compute, and compute has a footprint. IMDO's trading fees pay for ecological credits to be retired, automatically and in public. This page shows how, lists every retirement so far, and tells you how to check each one without trusting us.

How a trade becomes a retirement

    Regen Ledger

    Trade on EthereumEthereum

You swap on the IMDO/ETH Uniswap v4 pool. The pool's hook takes the fee, 1.5% of the ETH side, inside the swap and sends it to the treasury.

    Treasury splitEthereum

process() splits the fee: 25% to credit retirement, 40% IMD and 25% REGEN for stakers, 10% operations. The caller earns a small bounty.

    $2,039.28 in fees

    Bridge to BaseBridge

The retirement share crosses the canonical bridge to the fee rail on Base.

    $502.61 forwarded

    Retirement on BaseBase

The rail spends the bridged ETH to retire City Forest Credits through Klima's aggregator. Each batch is one transaction; nobody picks the credits or the timing.

    Mirror on Regen LedgerRegen Ledger

Each batch is mirrored on Regen Ledger to IMDO's own address. A public certificate links the Base retirement and the Regen record.

    the rail operator

Steps 2 and 3 are open to anyone: any wallet can call the split and send the bridge, and the contracts pay the caller a capped bounty. Steps 4 and 5 are the rail's. No one holds the money in between.

Live from the ledger. The Regen Ledger mirror is operated by the rail operator, not by the IMDO contracts; the steps below check it independently.

Check it yourself

  1. Pick any row and open its Base transaction on BaseScan. The City Forest Credit token (C02-004) transferred to the zero address is the retirement. Note the quantity.
  2. Open the row's Regen Ledger certificate. Its recorded reason contains base_tx: followed by that same Base hash.
  3. Confirm the batch and quantity match. On Mintscan, look for the regen.ecocredit.v1.EventRetire event.

Independent sources: the rail operator's status page (retired on Base vs mirrored on Regen, per vintage, refreshed every 15 minutes), IMDO's Regen Ledger address regen183ht37fsp2fhnq3gneyjycp08c3ju4xnvxnvan, and the rail's registry, router and receiver contracts on Base.

Worked example: the Base transaction 0xfa430c75a1c93158f21486664097946d1417212854c5849ea4012de6e372ca7c retired 6.743108 t, and its certificate records 6.743108 credits of batch C02-004-20210102-20211207-001.

What can and cannot be changed

The forwarder, the Base receiver and the retirement router have no owner, pause or upgrade path, and nothing in them leaves except as a retirement, the caller's capped bounty, or the next batch. The pool's hook does have an owner: it can lower the trading fee, never raise it, and fees it holds can only be redeemed to the treasury. The rail relies on Klima's Retirement Aggregator, which Klima operates: if it is reconfigured, batches skip and the ETH waits in the router. The contracts are public: github.com/hoolibear/imdo.

What this is, and isn't

This is regenerative contribution: funding verified ecological credits. It is not a claim that the swarm's emissions have been cancelled or offset. Footprint figures on Offsets.fun are estimates and are labelled as estimates. This page is not an offer, not advice, and says nothing about the price of any token.

Klima provides the Retirement Aggregator and the City Forest Credits. Regen Network provides the ledger, the certificates and the mirror. IMDO provides the hook, the treasury split, the Base router, the memes and the fun.
